About Chip Herchert
Chip Herchert joined BosseMattingly Constructors as Safety Director and Purchasing Coordinator in April 2011. Prior to joining BosseMattingly he worked for Sysco Food Services Louisville as sales and marketing specialist, Chef and Director of Merchandising and Marketing. He is currently a member of the Associated General Contractors of Kentucky Safety Committee, Chairman of the Safety Day Conference and helped develop the AGC Protect Safety Program. Chip attended The University of Houston, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. His duties are to develop, improve, audit and monitor safety on all of our worksites for both construction workers and the general public. Chip has successfully completed The AGC Safety Management Training Course, is OSHA 30-Hour certified, and holds many certificates from multiple safety trainings. He also serves as our Purchasing Coordinator for safety, tool rental and purchase programs, worksite fencing, scaffolding, dumpster, storage and office trailers.
